OUR HISTORY

A restaurant just a stone's throw away from the Basilica of San Vitale, tucked away just enough to immerse oneself in the most intimate atmosphere of Ravenna.

Originality, curiosity, and passion are the principles that guide our research: from wine to the raw materials used in the kitchen, every choice authentically tells the personality of the maître Massimo Serena Monghini (a great lover of wine, music, and photography) and the kitchen staff who have been collaborating for several years in the growth of this restaurant, opened in September 2004.

A warm-toned dining room, informal and welcoming service, books, records, carefully selected photos scattered among the wine bottles: every detail is studied to make those who decide to sit at our table feel comfortable and spend an evening with us.

THE MENU

Each dish is made fresh and the bread is baked daily in-house.

Every two months, the menu is changed while the wine list is updated a couple of times a year to constantly stimulate the curiosity of even the most demanding customers. In the kitchen, helping Silvio, is Luciano Coviello, a Lucanian cook with extensive experience in Italy and abroad. The osteria is a welcoming and informal place, decorated with photos of artists taken by Massimo (music and photography are his passions), books to browse through, and lots of wine bottles.
